The Kither, The Rocker, The FREAK!

A look inside the screwed up, but always entertaining life of Andi M.

Friday, August 13, 2004

I wait for this day every year and I am sooo excited it's finally here! I've been thinking about it even more than I did my birthday!
Aaaand you say: Andi, why is August 13, 2004 so imortant to you?
Aaaand I say: Because on August 13, 1970, Matthew Hyson was born, better known as, Spike Dudley

Every year I plan to write something but every year, I feel that my writing skills aren't up to par enough to write anything in the honor of Spike. A long time ago, I wrote something called "Ode to Spike Dudley" but it was just spur on of the moment and it was on a message board. Sure, I used to write for a wrestling website (Which I will not list here so you can go back and read all my embarassing articles) but I truly think I was hired because I would be the youngest person there, therefore, creating a gimmick for the site, but, I regress.

It is Spike Dudley's birthday, and in celebration, I have decided to do these things:
-Not get upset by all the little things that usually upset me. I'll have plenty of time for that tomorrow.
-Watch whatever old taped Smackdowns/Raws that I have with a match he was in. Including my favorite, which is a funny little angle between Steven Richards, Terri, and himself
-Wear my imaginany Spike Dudley shirt that WOULD have been real if I had ordered it a little sooner.
-Watch, and this is my favorite, "Before They Were WWF Superstars: Vol. 1", but ONLY his segment (which is kinda what I do anyway)
-And finally, but not least, just try and hope that by next year, maybe just maybe, I would have gotten to meet him (offiicially that is) and maybe even get the chance to wish him late/early happy birthday in person.

Oh yes, that reminds...a few days ago I posted something that looked like this: SPIKE IS A HEEL!
Okay, for all you non wrestling fans that read this out of sheer boredom, a "heel" is simply a bad guy. Spike has been a "face" (A good guy) his whole time in the WWE, which pretty much got him no where except a prematurely killed storyline with Molly Holly. So, going heel, in this case, is a very good thing.

Okay, I've killed your interest already, so I'll end it here by saying: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPIKE!!!!
